I’ve been reading various posts on how many seller are upset about the new feedback system but there is a positive note to all this. The buyers are rating us, the seller, on how well we do on things they, the customers want. This will help us be more aware of the things that are important to them and make us into better business people. It will make us more efficient and more aware of how well we do on customer service. So what should you do as a seller? Well do the things your are already doing and the things you may be slipping on do better. Describe you items accurately, charge fair shipping charges, ship fast and communicate with your buyer at every step. I for one am already doing these things so not much will change except now I will do them even better.

Thanks for the mention, Tom. I’ll admit that, as a seller, I was quite concerned about the new feedback system and I still think only time will tell how well (or not) it will work out. It was interesting to me, though, that my recent buying experience really did put a whole new light on all those stars.
